The Veteran's Day Parade is always a big deal in San Diego, because it is a military town. This year the Marines are celebrating a birthday, so it made the day even more patriotic than usual. What made me the proudest and the saddest was seeing our young veterans who are forever changed because of their war experiences. We cheered and clapped and showed them how much we appreciate what they had sacrificed, and in the end I think we all enjoyed a glorious picture post card San Diego day.
